TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Lebanon, TN is seeking an Orthopedic Acute Care RN to deliver patient‑centered care within a collaborative team. You will advocate for patients and families, participate in nursing councils, and contribute to initiatives that elevate outcomes and the future of nursing.

Expect to assess patients on admission and each shift, administer medications, document care, educate patients and families, and partner with physicians to ensure safe, effective recovery.

Qualifikationen

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree
• One year of acute care experience required

Aufgaben

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
