Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando in Orlando, Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate rehabilitation team. Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Florida PTA license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehab setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with implementing treatment plans and therapy programs.
• Provide safe, effective PT interventions under supervision.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, transfers, and functional activities.
• Monitor residents during treatment and report changes to the PT and clinical staff.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
