Job summary

Next Level Technician in Orlando, FL is seeking a seasoned Low Voltage Project Manager to oversee access control, CCTV, and automatic gate systems. You will act as the primary contact for projects, coordinating clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams from planning through completion.

The role requires 7+ years in project management within low-voltage or security industries, strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in low-voltage security or systems integration.
• Strong experience with access control, CCTV, and automatic gate systems.
• Proven ability to lead technicians, installers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience with budgeting, billing, scheduling, and operational analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry certifications such as BICSI, PMP, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Florida.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project activities, maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams.
• Oversee daily project operations, resources, schedules, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, documentation, and progress reports.
• Identify project risks, roadblocks, and potential delays and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and installers to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
• Lead, train, and develop field technicians and installation teams while promoting productivity, professionalism, and job-site safety.
• Monitor material requirements, inventory, and project-related costs.
• Support accurate billing, invoicing, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects comply with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety standards.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and customers as needed.
