  • Leading Transaction Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex fund financings and derivatives, from origination through syndication, contributing directly to the team's strategic success.
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients alongside Sales and Coverage teams, translating their unique needs into actionable financing solutions.
  • Team Advocacy: Serve as a key ambassador for the team, building its profile and influence both internally among critical stakeholders and externally with clients, prospects, and industry influencers.
  • Strategic Analysis: Apply sharp analytical skills to meticulously assess collateral, deal structures, and borrower profiles, optimizing transactions for robust risk mitigation.
  • Risk Collaboration: Work strategically with the Risk Department to refine and tailor transaction structures, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and maximizing deal viability.
  • Influencing Decisions: Craft compelling internal memoranda and confidently present deal proposals to approval committees, influencing key strategic decisions.
  • Driving Execution: Spearhead negotiation and finalization of deal documentation, liaising effectively with Legal Counsel, Borrowers, and Syndicate Banks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Client Partnership: Partner with clients and the Client Management Team to ensure rigorous KYC compliance and maintain optimal client standing.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution and closing of loan transactions by coordinating effectively with Operations, Agency, and other internal support functions.
  • Portfolio Stewardship: Contribute to the ongoing health and performance monitoring of our loan and derivative portfolio as required, gaining valuable portfolio management insights.
  • Market Expansion: Actively engage in targeted marketing initiatives to expand our reach and engagement with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Mentorship & Development: Mentor and develop junior team members, including Summer Analysts, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 4-7+ years of progressive experience in financial services, with a strong focus on origination, structuring, or capital markets within a relevant domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structuring and originating sophisticated fund financings and derivatives, serving a diverse clientele of alternative and regulated asset managers.
  • A track record of confidently presenting complex deal proposals and strategic insights to senior management and approval committee.
  • Deep familiarity and practical application of fund financing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of current alternative investment strategies and a nuanced understanding of key market participants and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), essential for financial modeling, reporting, and presentations.
  • An exceptional collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to teamwork, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Adept at managing tight deadlines and high-stakes bidding processes with precision and calm.
  • Superior multitasking capabilities and the agility to seamlessly adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic market.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; you can articulate complex financial concepts with clarity, conciseness, and persuasive power to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and engage effectively with professionals at all levels, from analysts to senior executives.
  • Unwavering integrity and a robust work ethic, embodying Natixis's commitment to excellence and ethical conduct.
  • A global mindset and the ability to thrive in and contribute to a multicultural, international workplace.
  • A strategic aptitude for cross-selling and presenting Natixis's diverse Global Markets product suite to Fund Solutions clients.
