You will gain hands-on experience in organoid culture and assist with microphysiological systems, immunofluorescence, cytokine analysis, and biomarker identification. The role provides exposure to Translational Bioengineered Assays Team / Global Therapeutics at VMRD and opportunities to interact with scientists across disciplines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing master's or doctoral degree in molecular biology, cell biology, veterinary or animal sciences.
• Experience with cell culture, organoid isolation, PBMCs/ILCs preferred.
• Experience with in vitro assays for inflammatory bowel disease or microphysiological systems with immune cells recommended.
• Demonstrated passion for biological research and willingness to learn new techniques.

Aufgaben

• Isolate and culture organoids, PBMCs, or local lymphocytes from target organs of livestock or companion animals.
• Develop and optimize organoid culture conditions.
• Perform various assays and analyze experimental data.
• Create visualizations and presentations for team meetings
