Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA is seeking to support the YWCA of Northwest Louisiana in developing educational programs, building partners, and securing resources for outreach and grants. The role focuses on reducing poverty by expanding services to low-income women and families in Northwest Louisiana.

The program runs 10/19/2026–10/18/2027 with a full-time schedule and education level of high school diploma/GED; relocation and training benefits are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Age 18 or older; no upper age limit.

Responsibilities

• Improve the capacity to develop educational programs for the community.
• Build new community partners and develop resources for outreach, grants and fundraising.
• Improve program outcomes of current YWCA programs.
• Increase participation of low-income women to access YWCA services.
