Job summary

Compal USA Technology is seeking a hands-on Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team in Texas, focusing on onboarding, LMS management, and employee growth.

You will create training materials, build SharePoint learning resources, and collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to continuously improve the employee learning experience and readiness across the organization.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of L&D, Training, or related HR experience.
• Experience creating and delivering onboarding and employee development programs.
• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in SharePoint site-building and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging new-hire onboarding and ongoing learning sessions.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and track training completion.
• Develop training materials, resources, and internal communications.
• Build and maintain SharePoint sites to support learning resources.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to address learning needs.
• Help continuously improve the overall employee learning experience.

• Facilitating engaging new-hire onboarding and employee learning sessions
• Managing our Learning Management System (LMS) and tracking training completion
• Supporting employee development and leadership-readiness programs
• Creating and improving training materials, learning resources, and internal communications
• Building and maintaining SharePoint sites that support learning and employee resources
• Supporting instructional design and video/content creation
• Partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders to identify and address evolving learning needs
• Helping us continuously improve the overall employee learning experience

What will make you stand out:

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Hands-on SharePoint site-building experience — not just SharePoint administration or content management
• Instructional design and/or video creation experience
• Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar platforms
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• A proactive, creative, and solutions-focused mindset
