Responsibilities
- Lead Organizational Change Management and Communications efforts to transition stakeholders to new processes and technology.
- Apply structured methodology, conduct change assessment, and develop adoption strategy.
- Lead hands-on communications for a wide variety of stakeholders; demonstrate strong MS PowerPoint skills.
- Facilitate cross-functional Stakeholder Advisory Forum to gather support, elicit requirements, and address concerns.
- Assess change impacts, readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Support training design and delivery; support User Acceptance Testing.
- Additional responsibilities: change management assessments, risk mitigation, resistance management, coaching, organizational design support, coordinating with specialists, integrating activities into project plan, measuring readiness and success, managing change portfolio.
Experience / Qualifications
- Organizational Change Management experience. Certification not required. 5+ years.
- Communication experience in OCM. 10+ years.
- Project Management experience. 5+ years.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. 10+ years.
- Experience with training program design and end-user readiness assessment. 10+ years.
- Experience managing resistance and driving adoption in complex, decentralized environments. 10+ years.
- Experience with process transformation initiatives. 10+ years.
Note: This is a remote, 12-month contract with the State of North Carolina. Experience with state government, counties, departments of social services, and financial management processes is beneficial.
