Job summary

Vanguard Renewables, based in Weston, Massachusetts, is expanding its Farm Powered platform to decarbonize farms and food waste. The ORA Operator role reports to the Operations Manager and involves depackaging incoming food waste, managing daily truck loads, and maintaining equipment.

Role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklift, plus basic Windows software skills. Workplace is industrial, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, push and/or pull objects up to 50 lbs and operate forklift.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) on a PC or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Depackaging of food waste and products received at the facility.
• Assist with managing daily truck loads.
• Coordinate with team lead on daily depackaging workflow standards.
• Record operational parameters and respond to trends.
• Create and update work orders for repairs and maintenance.
• Contribute to writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support safety programs and ensure contractors work safely on site.
• Communicate with internal personnel to maximize productivity within capacity limits.
