ALS Limited in the United States seeks a lab technician to support the analytical team through sample preparation, EPA-method extractions, data analysis, and recordkeeping. You'll prepare reagents, wash glassware, and maintain a safe, orderly workspace while meeting quality standards and working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include HS Diploma or BS in a science discipline, strong English communication, attention to detail, and willingness to work

About the role

Responsibilities for this position will include performing extractions using various EPA methods and general tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for entire analytical process, from preparation of samples, instrument set up and data analysis.

• Recognize and maintain safe working conditions.
• Use appropriate safety equipment.
• Follow PPE policies.

• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work off shift and/or overtime.

Physical Demands

• The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working.
• Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.
• Dexterity in hands and fingers to handle glassware.
• Must have average vision and able to see to read labels.
