Job summary

Verde Farms, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our organic beef manufacturing facility in New Jersey. You will supervise Production Associates, ensure schedules are executed efficiently, and maintain product quality and food safety standards while achieving daily targets.

The role reports to the Production & Logistics Manager and requires strong leadership and communication skills, GMP/HACCP/SQF compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years in beef grinding/further processing industry.
• Experience in fast-paced food manufacturing with tight deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to mentor and train Production staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Associates and coordinate daily operations.
• Oversee production machinery operations and changeovers.
• Report production issues to Plant Manager during shifts.
• Coordinate production planning to meet orders and deadlines.
• Maintain GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE compliance across the team.
• Coach and develop employees and manage performance.
