Job summary

Verde Farms, LLC in Pedricktown, NJ is hiring a Forklift Driver to support organic beef manufacturing. You will operate a forklift, load/unload pallets, and manage inventory using a warehouse system while adhering to safety and GMP requirements.

The role requires experience in meat processing environments, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a cold production setting. Full-time, on-site in New Jersey with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multitask and communicate with personnel at all levels.
• Meat processing plant and high packaging line experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and English communication skills.
• Ability to maintain safety, SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a forklift and operate basic controls while following safety regulations.
• Load and unload pallets, manage vertical racking systems, and maximize storage.
• Use Warehouse Management System to manage inventory and maintain records.
• Maintain clean, safe storage areas and perform daily equipment checks.
• Inspect incoming products for damage and restack pallets as needed.
• Coordinate shipment and receipt of products; communicate with logistics partners.
• Track shipping status and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
• Support shipping and receiving operations and assist other departments as needed.
