LifeNet Health is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator in Richmond, VA, to oversee the surgical recovery phase of the organ donation process. You will work with transplant surgeons and hospital staff to ensure successful organ recovery and compliance with regulatory standards.
The role requires 3 years in scrub/surgical tech (or EMT/paramedic) and travel up to 60%+. A key focus is accurate documentation, coordination with centers, and maintaining supplies for organ recovery.

Schedule: 15-call days per month; 24-hour shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays required; field-based role w/ extensive travel (60% or more)

The Organ Recovery Coordinator is responsible for the surgical recovery phase of the organ donation process. Perform all modules and aspects of organ recovery to include import, scrubbing, kidney perfusion, circulator, and organ recovery. Works collaboratively with transplant surgeons and hospital personnel to ensure that every organ/tissue gift is successfully recovered. Ensures compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.

Salary Range: $24.64/hour - $32.85/hour*
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $ 24.64 hourly (entry level qualifications to $ 32.85 hourly (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
