Role Summary
The Organ Placement Coordinator (OPC) - Night Shift is responsible for maximizing the utilization of abdominal and research organs from local donors, import offers, and accepted import organs. OPCs are accountable for activities related to the allocation and utilization of organs from local donors. This includes receiving, inputting, and evaluating all new organ-related referrals (phone and electronic), abdominal organ allocation for transplant and research, coordinating operating room timing, logistics, communication, and documentation.
Shift Details
Night Shift: 12.5-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, three days a week.
