Job summary

HDR is seeking a leader for its Oregon Traffic Engineering Business Class, overseeing multimodal transportation projects across Portland, Salem and Bend. The role focuses on staff mentorship, client engagement, and strategic growth within the Oregon region.

You will manage scopes, schedules, and budgets while collaborating with regional and national leaders to deliver high-quality transportation solutions for state DOTs, MPOs, counties, and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; professional registration preferred.
• 10 years of experience in transportation/traffic engineering.
• Led multi-disciplinary teams and large projects within a regional context.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oregon traffic engineering practice across offices (Portland, Salem, Bend).
• Oversee business development, pursuit management, and project delivery for transportation projects of varying sizes.
• Mentor and develop area staff, balance workloads, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
