Job summary

Affect is seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead a team of counselors and therapists in Oregon, combining clinical supervision with operational leadership. You’ll drive quality care, provider development, and adherence to our treatment model while maintaining a small clinical caseload.

Based in the Portland metro area, this full-time in-office role requires an Oregon license (LCSW or LPC), 2+ years independent practice, and proven supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon license: LCSW or LPC required.
• Minimum 2+ years as an independent clinician.
• Prior experience supervising clinicians is required.
• Ability to supervise across substance use and mental health treatment.
• Willingness to work in-office in the Portland metro area.
• Ability to maintain a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage across teams.
• Experience supporting documentation standards and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors and therapists.
• Coach clinicians on complex cases and treatment standards.
• Drive clinical outcomes, productivity, engagement, and quality metrics.
• Monitor documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance.
• Support caseload and utilization management, including scheduling.
• Conduct chart reviews, audits, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, and medical teams.
• Support training, onboarding, and ongoing clinician development.
• Contribute to new programs, protocols, and quality improvement.
• Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed.
• Participate in hiring and build a mission-aligned team.
