In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide the care needed as described according to the departmental policy and procedure. Promotes and maintains safe work environmental for staff as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives. Utilizes perioperative safety protocol, maintains patient confidentiality, adheres to strict sterile technique, and supports flexible patient care needs. **What you will do** * Demonstrates positive customer service utilizing appropriate telephone etiquette. Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/patients by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to patient care needs.* Maintains a safe patient care environment by complying with RHS policies/procedures/regulatory requirements that support National Safety Patient Goals and Quality Initiatives.
