Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a part-time patient care professional to support pediatric through geriatric patients with direct and indirect care in a collaborative team environment. The role involves a variety of duties including patient care tasks, clerical and transport support, with day shift flexibility.

BLS certification is required at hire and Safe Patient Handling training will be provided within 30 days.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be kept current.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Safe Patient Handling Training within 30 days of hire.

• Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties throughout the organization for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Performs a variety of other duties (clerical, transport, and messenger) in order to facilitate safe and effective patient care services

Qualifications

• 1. BLS (AHA Certification) upon hire and maintain current.
