Job summary

Cone Distributing Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking an Order Selector to join our distribution team. This full-time role requires selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment with accuracy, using handheld devices and pallet wrap equipment, and maintaining safety in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will stand, lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and handle heavier items as needed, with overtime opportunities on a 45–50 hour workweek. Seasonal and shift differential incentives apply for 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25 lbs and handle heavier items (kegs up to 160 lbs).
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Familiarity with WMS and handheld devices is a plus.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safety is first in all duties.
• Accurately select products from inventory for shipments.
• Wrap and secure pallets for loading.
• Label orders with shipping information and instructions.
• Inspect for damage and discrepancies and report issues.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals.
