Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a warehouse associate in Texas to support distribution for both Food and Beverage divisions.

The role focuses on accurate order fulfillment, palletizing, and loading goods for transportation, using RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move product safely and efficiently. You will contribute to a culture of reliability and teamwork across shifts while maintaining stock rotation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanners to track all product movement.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker safely and efficiently.
• Identify and select the correct product and quantity.
• Determine partial cases items when necessary.
• Assemble products on pallets for transportation with minimal damage.
• Contact forklift operators to replenish product in empty pick bins.
• Locate supervisors for substitutes when items are out of stock.
• Check for product in transit at end of night.
• Open and close boxes and containers; verify picking list accuracy.
• Load and stack products on trucks; ensure load is secure and stable.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform various inventory-related functions as necessary.
• Receive trucks on an as-needed basis; inspect received products for quality and expiration dates.
