Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is a leading food and beverage distributor with operations nationwide. The shipping and receiving role involves selecting and staging orders, loading trucks, and operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will stage orders based on ERP reports, verify items and quantities, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards. Prior warehouse experience and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.
• At least one year of warehouse and/or powered truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Stage and load orders using computer-generated reports.
• Verify shipments and labels; assemble orders from inventory.
• Operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area.
• Report issues to supervisor.
