Job Description

ORDER SELECTOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Order Selectors with leadership skills for a company based in Plant City, FL. This role offers an opportunity to work with a leading producer of fresh produce.

Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Monday to Saturday from 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, with overtime as needed.

Order Selector Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize pick lists and handheld scanners to accurately select and assemble customer orders based on product specifications and quantity requirements.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport pallets of produce.
• Inspect and verify products for quality, freshness, and accuracy before packing and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and inventory management policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Experience as a warehouse order selector or similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the food or produce industry.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs and work physically demanding roles.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
