JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Forklift Operator – Full Time – 8300 96th Avenue Zeeland, MI 49464

These positions start at $21.55/HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift positions)

These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production.

Forklift positions include extended run, forklift operator, order selector operator, and yard driver operator.

FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs

· The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas

· The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors

· The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas

· The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment

· The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces

401(k) & Stock Purchase Plans
Prepare for your future in retirement with our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan and Stock Purchase Plan. Our 401(k) plan offers both pre-tax and after-tax Roth contributions.

Once you’ve completed a year of service with the company, Tyson will contribute to your retirement savings in the 401(k) Plan with a match equal to 100% of the first 3% of eligible pay you contribute, plus 50% of the next 2 percent of eligible pay you contribute.
