Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking an Order Selector Operator to pick and prepare orders for outbound shipment in a fast-paced distribution center. You will ensure accuracy before shipping and communicate with the Team Lead/Supervisor to address issues and improvements.

The role requires stamina for lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for long periods, and familiarity with RF/WMS environments. You will operate equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, walkies, and pallet jacks while keeping the work area

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Familiar with the WM and RF environment preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to sustain excessive walking/standing for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to sustain extensive bending/lifting/reaching for the majority of the shift.
• Follows all safety rules to ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order accuracy before shipping for outbound tasks.
• Communicate with the Team Lead/Supervisor regarding all problems and needs.
• Develop and relay improvements to the Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Record, Calculate, Enter, and Sort Data into spreadsheets.
• Ensure all outbound tasks are completed in accordance with Department procedures.
• Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Ensure the department’s work area is clean, neat, and organized each day.
• Assist Inbound team members with resolving problems.
• Count, research, and monitor the activity of merchandise by product number and location.
• Communicate with members of other Departments as needed to process orders to meet DC Goals.
• Assist in training, cross-training, and development of members of the Outbound team.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment, including Fork, Order Selector, Walkie, and Pallet Jack.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do
