Job summary

Vistar in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a Sunday–Thursday, 2nd shift. You will pick cases from multi-level racks using an electric pallet jack/forklift and prep orders for shipment in a timely manner.

This full-time role offers Day 1 health benefits, competitive pay with a $3.00 shift differential and $1.25 freezer differential, plus incentive pay. Must pass pre-employment drug test and lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
6–12 months warehouse and/or distribution work experience preferred.
Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime as required.
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
Pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems.
Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along racks to locate products according to order sheets.
Move completed orders to shipping dock staging area and wrap/readied for shipment.
Transport palletized orders to loading dock and ensure safety standards are met.
Perform safety checks and maintain PPE and safety gear.
Complete all necessary paperwork and perform other duties as assigned.
