Job summary

Vistar is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate to select cases and containers for customer orders from multi-level racks. The role uses an electric pallet jack/forklift to move pallets to the loading dock, with wrapping, labeling, and staging for shipment in a safe, timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to work the scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse systems.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and move to shipping dock staging area.
• Wrap, label and prepare orders for shipment while observing safety regulations and quality standards.
• Operate pallet jack/forklift and rotate batteries as needed and perform safety checks.
• Complete shift paperwork and perform related duties as assigned.
