Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Order Selector for the 1st shift at our Houston, TX location. The role requires shipping/receiving tasks in a cold storage environment and a strong safety mindset. Expect 5:00am-3:30pm schedules with 4 x 10 hour days and at least one weekend day.

The job pays $20.31 per hour plus benefits and a robust safety program. Applicants should be prepared for background checks and drug screening as part of Penske's employment process.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Load and unload trailers safely.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort and place parts in racks or designated areas.
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Scan freights/parts.
• Comply with safety requirements and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
