Job summary

Staffmark is hiring for an Order Selector in Jersey Village, TX. This role focuses on receiving, moving, staging, loading, unloading, and transporting materials within a warehouse or manufacturing setting, with a steady 8am–5pm schedule and a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

You will verify inventory locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, and help maintain safe, accurate handling practices. Prior warehousing experience is beneficial, as are forklift or pallet jack skills.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.
• Stand up Raymond Forklift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Order Selector.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
