Job summary

TMD Staffing in Houston’s Northwest area (77040) is seeking an Order Selector to pull and prepare customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This in-person role is based on-site in a shop/warehouse setting.

Primary duties include reading pick lists, locating items across the facility, inspecting products, staging for shipping, and supporting inventory counts. Forklift/pallet jack operation and readiness for overtime and weekend shifts are required.

• Assist with stock counts, product replenishment, and reporting damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to management

Role Summary

order puller (also known as an order picker) is a warehouse professional responsible for receiving customer orders, locating and selecting the correct items from inventory, and preparing them for shipping or pickup.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, load/unload product
• Pull Orders, palletize, stock, stage product
• Assist with inventory counts
• Assembly of product and general clean up around warehouse

Core Responsibilities

• Order Retrieval: Read pick lists, packing slips, or computer-generated orders to locate specific items, quantities, and part numbers across the warehouse
• Product Inspection: Check items for visible damage, correct labeling, and precise quantities before processing.
• Staging and Packing: Sort, pack, label, and wrap products (using shrink-wrap or boxes) and stage them neatly for delivery drivers or freight shipping.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts depending on facility requirements and safety certifications.
• Inventory Support: Assist with stock counts, product replenishment, and reporting damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to management

Pay

$18/hour +, DOE

Schedule

8am-till finish, Mon-Fri, must be flexible to work OT and weekends as needed
