Job summary

Paycom in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to support receiving, processing stock, and order fulfillment. You will handle shipping/receiving tasks, organize materials, and help maintain an orderly, clean workspace.

The role requires 1–2 years related experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while following safety protocols. Prior use of Reach, forklift, and order picker is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience in shipping/receiving.

• Must pass background check and drug test.

• Familiarity with carbon flanges and fittings is a plus.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Experience with Reach truck, Forklift and Order Picker
• Experience with Carbon Flanges and Fittings a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience on Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-up Reach Truck or Picker preferred
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
