Job summary

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an Order Processor to contribute to our Operations team in distribution Operations in Jackson, TN. The role focuses on picking, packing, labeling, and shipping fulfillment with attention to safety and process improvements.

The workweek runs Monday to Friday with early morning shifts and overtime during peak season. We emphasize casual dress, a great schedule, and a convenient location while offering $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of continuous work experience.
• 6 months work experience including walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Pick/verify and pack book product for small wrap orders.
• Print and apply shipping labels.
• Create shipping manifest.
• Pull and pack products as identified on automated order processing system to fulfill customer orders.
• Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to protect and ship.
• Load the product for shipment based on geographical destination.
• Restocks product as needed.
• Packs products into cartons.

What You'll Do:

• Pick/verify and pack book product for small wrap orders

• Pull and pack products as identified on automated order processing system to fulfill customer orders
• Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugates cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for method of shipping
• Loads the product for shipment based on geographical destination
• Restocks product as needed
• Packs products into cartons
