Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC. is seeking an Order Picker on 2nd shift to pick and scan finished goods for customer orders. You will restock pick locations, keep the area clean, and participate in training of new pickers.

You must follow GMP, safety rules, and company policies while maintaining good attendance. The job requires being able to lift up to 50 lbs and working in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to powders and allergens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Flexibility for overtime when needed.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely.
• Must comply with GMP requirements; GMP training provided on the job.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Work environment may include powders, chemicals, and allergens.
• Ability to stand and perform tasks for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Pick and scan finished goods items for orders.
• Help restock pick locations when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping in pick area.
• Participate in training of new order pickers.
• Ensure Tablet and Scanner are returned to charge area at day end.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies; maintain attendance.

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Order Picker is responsible for picking and scanning finished goods items for orders. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct products are being scanned/picked for orders
• Help restock pick locations when needed
• Responsible for housekeeping in pick area
• Participates in training of new order pickers
• Ensure Tablet and Scanner are returned to charge area at the end of the day.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed in warehouse
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
• Other duties as assigned

• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish)..
• Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
