Job summary

Staffmark in Melrose Park, IL is hiring an Order Picker to join our warehouse team. This role involves picking, packing, labeling, and preparing items for shipment using RF scanners and pallet jacks, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour and schedule Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

You’ll help ensure accuracy, speed, and safe warehouse operations in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. Previous warehouse experience with RF scanning and inventory systems is preferred.

Location: Melrose Park, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule:

• Mondays (8 AM - 4:30 PM) Currently in mandatory OT on Mondays working until 8:30 PM
• Tuesday - Friday (10 AM - 6:30 PM) Mandatory overtime as needed up to 12 hour shifts

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of recent warehouse experience to include RF scanning, order picking using a pallet jack and RF scanner, picking, packing, labeling and other shipping & receiving duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Order Picker.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse and fulfillment environments while following established safety procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Order Picker you will pick customer orders, verify inventory, pack products securely, prepare shipments, apply shipping labels, and stage completed orders for delivery.
