The Order Puller pulls products from the warehouse and packages the items appropriately for distribution to customers. Key Responsibilities:

1. Read work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
2. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Sort and place products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
4. Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
5. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for items and distribute to production workers.
6. Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for shipping.
7. Load products onto delivery trucks as needed.
8. Mark materials with identifying information.
9. Open bales, crates, and containers.
10. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
11. Use computer/scanner to enter records.
12. Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
13. Complete requisition forms to order supplies.
14. Prepare products for shipping, including wrapping and packing.
15. Assist in maintaining inventory records.
16. Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers, vendors, and others.
17. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
18. Perform duties as workload necessitates and maintain a positive attitude.
19. Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
20. Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and prioritize tasks.
21. Report to work on time, prepared to perform duties, and meet productivity standards.
22. Perform other duties as required.

Scope of Responsibility: This job follows standard practices and procedures, expected to accomplish work with limited supervision.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Language Ability: Read and comprehend instructions, memos; write simple correspondence; present information effectively; understand English.
• Math Ability: Calculate figures, discounts, proportions, percentages; apply basic algebra.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions; deal with problems involving variables.
• Computer Skills: Use basic computer programs and scanners.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years related experience/training, or equivalent.

Physical Demands: Frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds; regularly stand, walk, sit, handle, reach; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.

Tools, Equipment, and Machinery: Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, or similar equipment.

Work Environment: Shipping environment with frequent disruptions; moderate to loud noise level.
