Job description

• Perform a final quality check to verify that the orders / transfers / vendor claims provided to the packing area are 100% accurate per the order requirements.
• Input data entry to accurately document the items and quantities included in each packing transaction.
• Prepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure the merchandise is sufficiently protected from in-transit loss or damage.
• Apply packaging labels / attach packing lists and stage completed orders for shipment manifest.
• Identify expedited requirements and prioritize the processing of those needs accordingly.
• Attend to regular housekeeping responsibilities throughout the warehouse.
• Conduct packing supply inventory checks and ensure that stock levels of packing supplies are maintained.
• Perform additional job duties, which may be added at any time.

Knowledge, Skill, Education and Experience Required :

• Minimum experience requirement : Five, or more, years in a similar position / parallel working environment utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications
• Minimum educational requirement : High school graduate or equivalency
• Ability to read and write in English and understand basic Math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. while using proper safety techniques or a team lift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, tape machine, and other ordinary tools essential to perform the job

The 12pm -10 : 30pm shift is a 4 / 10 schedule. Yes, our new schedule offers a 4-day work week. You will work 10 hr. days for 4 days to = 40 hr.
