Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking a dependable order picker at our Lexington branch, focused on accurate product selection and efficient order preparation.

You will read orders, grab items from warehouse racks with barcodes and serial numbers, and update inventory in our ERP system after each pick. The role requires a year of warehouse experience, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
