Lane Automotive is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate in Watervliet, MI to pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time. The role uses handheld devices to locate inventory, ensures correct quantities, and prepares shipments for domestic and international orders.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong communication, teamwork, and safety habits. Hours are Monday through Friday, with routine duties including cycle counts and packing optimization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Able to communicate effectively with leadership, managers, leads, and peers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Willing to participate in Company designated training.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance.

Responsibilities

• Locate inventory and assemble customer orders from stock and transport orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station.
• Check accuracy and prepare orders for shipment utilizing tote scanning.
• Pack orders utilizing proper packing methods to maximize carton space and protect contents.
• Calculate package weights, prepare invoices, and process shipments using shipping meters and rate charts.
• Assist with routine cycle counts and maintain stock accuracy.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Replenish stock levels in assigned bin locations from stock locations.
• Prepare delivery trucks for daily routes and keep trucks clean and well maintained.
• May drive vehicle to transport items between buildings or locations for shipment.
• Partake in overall housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
