Job summary

Orafol Americas is seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our Ellabell, GA warehouse. The role covers inventory control, order pulling, shipping/receiving, and operating warehouse equipment to support production and distribution.

Responsibilities include accurate FIFO picking, receiving inbound shipments, packing orders with high accuracy, staging for shipment, and contributing to inventory accuracy and cycle counts while maintaining safety and quality compliance.

The Order Fulfillment Specialist

The Order Fulfillment Specialist is experienced in all areas of the warehouse to include, but not limited to, inventory control, pulling customer orders, shipping and receiving and operating non-motorized and motorized equipment.

Essential Functions

• Quickly & accurately pull customer orders using first in first out (FIFO) method
• Receive, off-load and break down incoming shipments
• Count and reconcile incoming shipments against vendor packing slips
• Ensure date coding on incoming product
• Transport finished goods from Converting area to the Warehouse
• Safely and quickly package customer orders within a 99.9% accuracy rate
• Distribute product to warehouse bins in compliance with first in first out (FIFO) rotational procedures
• Reposition bulk and overflow skids per FIFO procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Load and unload trucks
• Stage order for shipment
• Accurately document customer orders
• Ship orders using UPS or FedEx shipping system
• Restock shelves as well as organize how and where product is stored
• Assist with inventory control and annual inventory process
• Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner ensuring the safety of self and team members

• Participate in performance improvement programs, data collection, and meetings as directed
• Follow prescribed safety regulations
• Maintain an optimal level of product quality and adhere to ORAFOL’s Quality Program

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Basic math skills and computer data entry required; Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Work Experience

• At least one year of related warehouse/shipping experience
• Forklift certification preferred: ability to be certified within 90 days of start date

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move objects a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position such as standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, and occasionally kneeling
