Job summary

Talentify in Katy, TX is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate between sales, production and shipping to ensure accurate, timely and thorough completion of customer orders.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to communicate order status, ship dates and issues with customers, sales and production. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Review, organize and distribute job tags to production.
• Update Shipping Department order list as new orders come in and keep orders updated as they are processed.
• Schedule trucks to pick up orders when completed.
• Communicate with jobsites for direct shipments to meet delivery dates.
• Upload pictures of complete orders after verification.
• Assist with Shipping Log as needed.
• Manage expedited orders and tight lead times with production.
• Notify Sales of order issues and updated ship dates; handle customer inquiries.
• Occasionally perform inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Learn production positions to help when needed.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor/Manager.
• Order supplies as needed.
