Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Modesto is hiring for an Order Filler Picker on 1st shift. The role runs 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Thursday, at $21.15 per hour. You will safely pick and pack customer orders and keep the work area clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have general labor or warehouse experience and are detailed oriented. Production and material handling experience is a plus, with benefits and career growth available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0–12 months experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Loader/Unloader and picking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe, accurate filling of customer orders.
• Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or handheld computer.
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves to fill orders.
• Efficiently pick orders and ensure correct product is loaded and shipped.
• Count product inventory by location.
• Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Role Purpose

Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.

Key Accountabilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders or shipment insuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Accurately count product inventory by location .
• Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
