Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Memphis is hiring an Order Filler Picker to support efficient order fulfillment. You will receive, scan, sort, pick and pack customer orders, and prepare packages for outbound shipping, with a first shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm and mandatory overtime during busy periods.

Required: at least 6 months in a warehouse, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse.
• Minimum of 6 months experience operating a manual pallet jack.
• Minimum of 6 months experience using an RF Scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout shift.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, AS/400.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight packages to scan and sort for put-away.
• Pick and pack customer orders; prepare packages for outbound shipping.
• Efficiently pick customer orders or shipments and ensure correct product count.
• Count product inventory by location and transport orders to shipping locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist in inventories.

Position: Order Filler Picker Shift: First (1st) Shift Hours: 6:00am –; 4:30pm –; overtime is mandatory during busy production Days: Monday - Thursday Pay: $19.05 per hour

Role Purpose

Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.

Key Accountabilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders or shipment insuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Accurately count product inventory by location .
• Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
