Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Perform daily warehouse functions in the department including picking, cutting, re-spooling, and packing wire/cable.

Responsibilities:

1. Load and set-up wire/cable onto machines.
2. Cut/re-spool wire/cable per customer specifications.
3. Follow all work procedures for pulling material, cutting cable, and in-process inspections.
4. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Team Leader.
5. Provide hands-on job training to coworkers as assigned.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
7. Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Requirements:

• Carefully read and interpret documents such as work orders, wire and cable specifications, and procedures to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
• Perform basic math functions—add, subtract, multiply, and divide—in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer needs.
