Job summary

Cencora, a leading health-care services company, seeks a warehouse associate to support distribution services in the US. The role covers Sunday and Monday–Thursday shifts with pay starting at $18.00 per hour and potential up to $22.99 per hour, plus various earning opportunities.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, inventory, and compliance with safety and DEA rules. Requires a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Ohio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate in a (PkMS) warehouse environment and use the warehouse management system to perform daily tasks.
• Accurately fill orders by verifying quantity, size, strength and NDC numbers.
• Check orders after picking to ensure proper packing and prevent damage; repack if needed per procedures.
• Place merchandise containers on conveyors with route information visible.
• Verify totes, cases and paperwork prior to delivery.
• Retrieve merchandise from floors and conveyors promptly.
• Wrap breakables securely as requested.
• Assist with stocking shelves and inventory procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area to promote safety and prevent injuries.
• Comply with policies, safety rules and DEA regulations; work overtime as needed.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details: Sunday 1:00 PM until Finish. Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM until Finish.

Pay Details: Pay starting at $18.00/HR with potential for up to $22.99/HR based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• If a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment, must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.
• Accurately fills orders verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.
• Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is placed and packed appropriate to prevent damage during transit; repacks order when necessary following quality standards and procedures.
• Carefully places merchandise containers on conveyor as requested, ensuring the route information is visible.
• Verifies that totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.
• Promptly retrieves merchandise from floors, under shelves and from conveyor.
• Carefully and securely wraps breakable items in protective covering as requested.
• Assists with stocking shelves as requested.
• Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
