Job summary

Impact Employment Solutions in Independence is seeking an Order Filler (Forklift/Combi Lift Operator) to safely operate a forklift, verify orders, and pick items with an RF scanner.

The role requires manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work Monday to Friday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour on a temp-hire basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

• High school diploma or GED.

Role and Responsibilities Safely operating a forklift/Combi Lift. Ensuring product is damage free and piece counts and color match order. Fill orders using a pick ticket with an RF scanner. Checking fluids on equipment (forklift/Combi Lift) Assisting in unloading & loading of C/C trucks and will calls as needed. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment. Ability to operate a forklift/Combi Lift. Ability to work independently and with others. High school diploma or GED	Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months. The noise level is moderate to loud.
