Job summary

ASRC Federal Data Networks Corporation (DNC) seeks an Operations Support, Orbit Analyst in Boulder, CO to monitor TraCSS data flows, perform conjunction analyses, and support 24/7 operations in a government-facing environment.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a related engineering/physics/computing degree, and experience with orbital mechanics and SSA concepts. Shift work is expected; on-site performance in Boulder, CO is required.

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance is required.
Degree in Engineering, Physics/Astronomy, Computer Science or related field with 1–4 years related experience (BS) or 3–8 years (AS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of space domain awareness, SSA, STC, STM topics.
Experience with orbital mechanics and related SSA/STC methods is a plus.
Ability to be certified to perform duties on a yearly basis.

Responsibilities

Monitor data flow into TraCSS; manage propagation, conjunction assessment, and CDM delivery.
Address operational issues to ensure safety and stability of space operations.
Develop and evolve TraCSS procedures, displays, and training aids.
Take action to ensure continuous SSA safety services and issue resolution.
Coordinate with DoD, satellite operators, TraCSS System Integrator, and vendors.
Contribute to training materials for onboarding government and commercial teams.
