Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Specialist to contribute to planning and delivering ORAT programs for aviation and infrastructure projects. Projects are nationwide, with frequent travel and a hybrid work model.

You will lead or support workstreams, develop plans and coordination materials, and engage with clients, operators, airlines, tenants, designers and regulators to ensure readiness across design, construction, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in aviation management, engineering, construction management, operations management, planning or related field.
• Experience contributing to ORAT, activation, airport or facility operations, construction, commissioning, training, trials, stakeholder engagement, or complex capital-program delivery.
• Ability to coordinate ORAT activities and independently lead defined workstreams such as operational trials or training activities.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and producing client-ready documentation.
• Knowledge of facility or airport operations and the relationship between design, construction, testing, turnover and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, mobilization, and execution of ORAT programs across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, trackers, and coordination materials for ORAT activities.
• Support stakeholder engagement and build relationships with clients, operators, airlines, tenants, designers, contractors and regulators.
• Gather requirements and contribute to concepts of operations, procedures, transition plans and opening strategies.
• Coordinate Familiarization, Induction and Training activities including needs assessment, content development and delivery.
