Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Specialist to plan and deliver ORAT programs for aviation and infrastructure projects. The role may lead a defined workstream, including operational trials and training activities, across projects located throughout the United States with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
• Experience contributing to ORAT, activation, airport or facility operations, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to lead defined workstreams such as operational trials or readiness activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, mobilization, and execution of ORAT programs across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, trackers, and coordination materials for ORAT activities.
• Engage with clients, operators, airlines, tenants, designers, contractors, and regulators to build effective relationships.
• Document operational requirements and contribute to concepts of operations and transition plans.
• Coordinate Familiarization, Induction and Training activities including content development and tracking.
• Lead tabletop exercises, operational trials, simulations, and readiness evaluations as appropriate.
• Track dependencies with design, construction, testing, turnover, and milestones.
• Maintain readiness controls, dashboards, risks, issues, actions, and SharePoint content.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials for teams and clients.
• Facilitate working sessions and document decisions and owners.
