U.S. Oral Surgery Management in Homewood, IL seeks a Surgical Technician to assist during consultations and surgeries, support pre- and post-operative care, and help maintain office efficiency.

You will work on site, provide patient instructions, ensure OSHA safety compliance, manage records and instruments, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous oral surgery experience.
  • Basic CPR Certification required.
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer
  • TB Vaccination & Titer

Responsibilities

  • Surgical Support: Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
  • Patient Care Expert: Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
  • Compliance and Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and charting.
  • Equipment and Instrument Maintenance: Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
  • Interpersonal Relations: Maintain rapport with patients and team members; resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: Protect patient and clinic information.
  • Patient Experience Enhancement: Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during visits.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
