Job summary

Dugan Oral Surgery is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist during consultations and procedures, provide pre- and post-operative care, and help improve office efficiency in a private surgical setting.

You will support the surgeon during surgeries, seat patients, take vitals, and ensure safe anesthesia monitoring, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety in Oneonta, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Adhere to OSHA and regulatory guidelines, including radiation safety and radiographic exposure.
• Document and maintain patient records/charting.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
• Maintain rapport with patients and team members and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain patient, clinic, and hospital confidentiality.
• Provide an excellent patient experience throughout visits.
• Be adaptable to additional duties as needed.
