Advanced Oral Surgery & Periodontics is seeking a meticulous Sterilization Technician to join our Mullica Hill, NJ practice. This full-time role includes travel to Voorhees and Moorestown as needed, supporting aseptic processing and instrument preparation for surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with sterilization techniques, and the ability to work well both in a team and independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually clean supplies of contaminants.
• Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Examine supplies meticulously to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization.
• Test and report any issues with sterilization equipment.
• Sterilize, prep, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for procedures.
• Prepare and deliver equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Maintain records of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor inventory and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
